1. Who we are

Cashiery is a point-of-sale (POS) application that helps store owners and staff manage products, sales, shifts, and related store operations.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Cashiery, we may collect the following categories of information.

• Account and profile: name, email, hashed password, user role (owner, supervisor, cashier), and authentication tokens.
• Store and business: store name, currency, language, tax settings, units, country/region, and staff accounts you create.
• Operational data: products, prices, barcodes, stock, images, categories, sales, invoices, refunds, payment method (cash/card), shifts, and reports.
• Device and technical data: device type, OS, app version, IP address, diagnostic logs, and connectivity status for sync/offline mode.
• Push notifications: a device push token (for example FCM) if notifications are enabled.
• Subscriptions: purchase verification data from Google Play (purchase tokens and status). We do not receive your full card details.
• Local/offline data stored on your device so the app can work offline and sync later.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.

• Create and manage your account and store
• Provide POS features (catalog, sales, shifts, reports, employees)
• Sync data between your device and our servers
• Process subscriptions and verify purchases
• Send important service notifications
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
• Improve reliability and performance

5. How we share information

We may share information only as needed with service providers (hosting, email, diagnostics, Firebase), app stores/payment platforms (for example Google Play), your authorized store users according to their role, and authorities when required by law.

6. Data storage and international transfers

Your information may be stored on your device and on servers operated by us or our providers, which may be in countries other than where you live. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect transferred data.

7. Data retention

We retain account, store, and transaction data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records longer for legal, tax, security, or backup purposes.

You may request account deletion by emailing amin.app.devs@gmail.com. Local offline data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures including HTTPS, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your login credentials and device access.

9. Children’s privacy

Cashiery is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export certain personal data, and to withdraw consent where applicable. Email amin.app.devs@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

• Sign out or stop using the Service

11. Third-party services

Those services have their own privacy policies governing their use of information.

• Google Firebase (push notifications and related infrastructure)
• Google Play Billing (Android subscriptions)
• Hosting / cloud providers for our API and databases

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
