Terms of Service

1. The Service

Cashiery is a point-of-sale (POS) tool for store owners and staff to manage catalog items, sales, inventory quantities, cashier shifts, invoices/receipts, and related store operations on a single store account.

Features may differ between Free and Pro plans and may change as we improve the product.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and use Cashiery for legitimate business purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for keeping login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity under your store account, including actions by staff you invite (owner, supervisor, cashier).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful activity or to violate others’ rights
• Attempt to break, reverse engineer, or overload the Service
• Share accounts in a way that bypasses plan limits or security
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content (including product images)
• Interfere with other users or our infrastructure

4. Your store data

You retain ownership of your store content (products, sales, settings, images). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and sync that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for backing up important business records as needed for your own tax and accounting obligations.

5. Plans, billing, and Google Play

Cashiery may offer a Free plan with usage limits (for example product and monthly sales caps) and a Pro plan with expanded features.

Paid subscriptions on Android are billed through Google Play. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for store payments are governed by Google Play’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms.

We may change plan features or limits with reasonable notice where required.

6. Offline mode and sync

The app may work offline and sync later. You are responsible for resolving conflicts or failed syncs and for verifying critical sales/stock after reconnecting.

7. Hardware and third parties

Printers, scanners, and other hardware are provided by third parties. Cashiery does not guarantee compatibility with every device. App store platforms, Firebase, and hosting providers are governed by their own terms.

8. Intellectual property

Cashiery branding, app software, and website content (excluding your store data) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cashiery and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim or (b) USD 50, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk to the platform or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that should survive (including liability limits and IP) will survive termination.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
